By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access or use the Service.

2. Service Description

NoteSnap is a temporary note-sharing service that allows users to:

  • Create and share temporary notes with configurable expiration times
  • Upload files and images through Google Drive integration
  • Share notes with specific users
  • Access note history locally

3. User Responsibilities

Prohibited Content

You agree not to use the Service to store or transmit:

  • Illegal content or materials
  • Malicious software or code
  • Content that infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Spam or unsolicited commercial content
  • Content that promotes hate speech or discrimination
  • Personal or sensitive information of others without consent

4. IP Tracking and Security

We track IP addresses for security purposes. By using our Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Your IP address will be logged and monitored
  • We may use this information to prevent abuse and illegal activities
  • We may share this information with law enforcement if required by law
  • Multiple violations may result in IP-based restrictions

5. Google Drive Integration

When using our Google Drive integration:

  • You must comply with Google's Terms of Service
  • You retain ownership of your uploaded content
  • You are responsible for managing your Google Drive storage
  • We only access the specific NoteSnap folder we create

6. Data Retention and Deletion

  • Notes are automatically deleted from our servers after their expiration time
  • Local note history remains in your browser until you clear it
  • We do not maintain backups of expired notes
  • Files uploaded to Google Drive remain until you delete them

7. Service Limitations

  • We enforce rate limits on note creation
  • Maximum file upload sizes apply
  • The service may be unavailable during maintenance
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Notes will remain accessible if you lose the URL before expiration
  • Notes will be recoverable after their expiration time from local machine
  • Any errors or defects will be corrected

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Loss of data or notes
  • Unauthorized access to your notes
  • Any other matter relating to the Service

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
